CODE OF CONDUCT AGREEMENT FOR FIELD TRIPS:

Parents, as members of CHEN, accept on behalf of their children who wish to participate in field trips, lessons, or activites organized by CHEN or their members, the following code of conduct. By signing your membership forms, you indicate that you understand and accept these guidelines.

1. That, because facilities request fees in advance, it is necessary to prepay organizers.

2. That respect for instructors and facilities will be shown always. A child who receives two cautions for misbehaviour may be asked to leave by the organizers or instructor.

3. That most facilities do not offer refunds in the event of non-attendance or in cases of absence due to inappropriate behaviour.

4. That each of us is responsible for the behaviour and safety of the children we bring to activities.

5. That commitments made to attend trips should be kept because guides and preparations for attendance are arranged based on the number of people who are expected. Homeschool groups get a bad reputation when participants fail to met commitments they make.

6. Every effort should be made to arrive at your destination on time so that the trip is not delayed.
